It was brilliant in both countries. There is a real buzz from going down a real river along different rapids. And you get a good go at it. Loved every moment. Or almost. Just the bit when you have to swim to the shore! Had some great food afterwards, particularly in Peru.
Yes, I went white water rafting at Holme Pierpoint a few years back with the Police.
It was great fun but the hardest part of the day was the paddling back upstream with a strong wind in our facesthat we had to do after each time down the run!
The course there is very good and caters for all abilities.
