No I haven't OIL, but I have been white water rafting in New Zealand and Peru.

Maybe I'll do that in Nottingham one day!

It was brilliant in both countries. There is a real buzz from going down a real river along different rapids. And you get a good go at it. Loved every moment. Or almost. Just the bit when you have to swim to the shore! Had some great food afterwards, particularly in Peru.

I used to know someone who competed internationally at white water rafting and he was always using the course at Holme Pierrepont.

It was good enough for him!

They also hold a lot of important competitions there.
Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!

no, i haven't but it sounds like fun! would love to give it a go sometime
Donncha O'Callaghan and Bruce Reihana are the best players that ever lived. Don't even bother to argue with me.

And - however good Imanol Harinordoquy is, he is still an idiot

Yes, I went white water rafting at Holme Pierpoint a few years back with the Police.

It was great fun but the hardest part of the day was the paddling back upstream with a strong wind in our facesthat we had to do after each time down the run!

The course there is very good and caters for all abilities.
