having chatted to one of the seriously geeky weather guys on the storm and weather watch forum tonight, he tells me that we're in for more big storms during late Wednesday, into Thursday and possibly Friday.

NetWeather also has a forecast of the temperature in Oadby at midnight on Wednesday being 20c.....and then storms coming in the early hours. Make sure you shut windows in cars/sheds etc, and don't leave out delicate plants where heavy rain and gusty winds might bash them about.

Thanks for that Jan and I will take your advice. I have plenty of pot plants so I will move them to the greenhouse.
