Favourite Homer moment
I know this hard because there are so many great moment's. Heres one to start.
The scene. Homer is lying on the settee as Marge is thanking Lisa & Bart for helping her learn her lines for a forthcoming play.
Homer: 'Hey dont i get a thank you?'
Marge: 'But you didnt help at all Homer'
Homer: 'Awwwrrr' (in that wingy voice he puts on to great effect)
'But I like being thanked'
A legend....I know there is a site with stuff like this on but just post your favourite.

The bit where he is looking for a peanut but finds a $20 note and his brain has to explain to him how he can use a $20 note to get more peanuts 'cause "Money can be exchanged for goods & services"
Or the bit where he's trying to increase customers to the bowling alley so settles back with his reading glasses and a book on "Advanced Marketing", then bins it in favour of "Marketing for Beginners" then bins that in favour of a dictionary.

Hahaha...I'd forgot about that one. Top thread thisIain wrote:My guilty secret is that I'm an absolute Simpsons buff. The best moment is surely the opening sequence spoofing the Flintstones.
"Simpson, Homer Simpson, he's the greatest guy in history,
From the town of Springfield, he's about to hit a chestnut tree....
....AAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!"

Iain maybe it was you who was prescribed medicinal marijuana, and you just thought you saw that episode  It would explain why no one else has seen itIain wrote:Am I the only person to have seen the episode where Homer gets prescribed medicinal marijuana? I've not met anyone else yet who has seen it. VERY funny Homer moments in that.
For me it's when Bart has fallen in with a bad crowd. They are goading him to damage the Springfield statue. A heinous act but it will make him popular.
Caught on the horns of this dilemma, he goes home and asks Homer whether it's more important to do the right thing or to be popular.
Without even looking up from his paper, Homer says decisively: "Popular. It's always very important to be popular."
So Bart does the crime.

Kicks and scrums and ruck and roll.....Is all my brain and body need!
I downloaded the episode in my student days, I have a feeling it was only ever shown in America. Homer gets his eyes pecked by a group of crows, and Dr Hibbert prescribes him marijuana for the pain. There follows Homer sliding into being an utter stoner. He is found by Marge, Bart and Lisa smoking in the bedroom singing Smoke On the Water!stevetelcom2000 wrote: Iain maybe it was you who was prescribed medicinal marijuana, and you just thought you saw that episode  It would explain why no one else has seen it
