Things to be sent to Room 101

Post by Ashby Rock Chick » Thu Jul 06, 2006 8:52 am

Kinny gave me the idea for this topic. What would you confine to Room 101?

I have so many things that I would like to add here but will just put my most hated:

1. Corned beef
2. All cigarettes
3. Burberry & chavs
4. Gavin Henson
5. Diamond White and all cheap & nasty wines
6. Child porn
7. Fox hunting
9. Lame pop music
10. People with no manners
11. Ex boyfriends
12 Ex husbands
13. Football

Old people in queues.

No matter how long they queue for, they are still totally unprepared when it's their turn.

If you don't put them into Room 101 I'm going to start taking matters into my own hands.

Room 101 was part of our GCSE coursework; I chose queues at theme parks which was probably a bit stupid else you wouldn’t be able to go on the ride  my point was I don't like it when people push in. The next was Cows because I had a bad experience on a field trip in primary school and the TV show You’ve been framed as most of them are just set up.

Wow Spike...you seem to be a ball of supressed rage!

I'd have to go with that section of liverpool fans that actually think they are uniquely different to any other footy fan.

Don't worry Red....Not all liverpool fans are going in......just the self-righteous, self-glorifying ones. In short the ones who've contracted Geordie-itis.

Good thread Ashers

The Daily Mail.
Guaranteed to make you want to slit your wrists after reading it.
It is the most hypocritical paper I know ( although the Excess is a close second).
One day it can be doing close up pictures of Charlotte Churches backside and saying how fat she's getting and then the next day bemoanong the fact that many young girls have eating disorders!

when i read this i immediately thought of my old accounting teacher who threw a huge accounting book at me more than once, threw me out of class, banned me from answering questions etc etc, all because i asked her to actually teach me! and oh ya asking her to refund the money that i spent on extra classes. but anyway then i realised, i had so much fun in that class. and every thing listed for room 101 is good in a sense, but they all make me moan and complain ans essentially have a good laugh with people about it so.... nothing!
except maybe david beckam and posh spice... they wreck my head that pair!
to the brave and faithful nothing is impossible

Crikey Spike, perhaps it would be best if you just stayed in. LOL.....

I am No 5 I am afraid, I love music loud in the car, especially David Gilour and Metallica!!

No 18 is a personal hate of mine too or anyone doing a service job, how do they get their jobs. I agree with nearly all of your points though. :?

Right back to business.......................

20. Peanut Butter
21. Newspapers in general (if you strip the opinion, guess work and other dross you could have a single sheet of news)
22. Nikki from Big Brother
23. People who design carpark spaces 3 inches too small for a normal car.
24. People who wander vaguely down the high street texting on their mobiles.
25. People who under the guise of religion come and bother me (there are people starving in the world if you feel compeled to do something do something useful!)
26. Hold music (see the Call Centre point)
27. The fact my car picks up Radio Cambridge travel news when I'm driving in Yorkshire (so helpful).
28. The person whos voice it is on the SAT NAV.
29. wasps (the insects not the rugby team - however.......)
30. Stuart Barnes (I know it's the same point as a previous one but it's so good I'll make it twice (apologies to Red Dwarf))

Ha ha Spike, you are great. Remind me to never ask you to my wedding (not that there;ll be another one). Can you just imagine it at the "does anyone know of any reason not to get spliced bit"!!!??? You would get your list out and proceed to reel them off.

Fantastic!!!!!! :P

31. Salespeople who try to sell me insurance for an electrical item which costs £50 when the item can be brought for £24.99 and then get annoyed when I laugh.
32. The fact that if you get anything delivered they will never give you a time for delivery and than turn up when you are a. in the loo, b. in the garden for five minutes and have left before you can get to the door.
33. People who still answer their phones whilst driving
34. The fact that its illegal to answer a phone whilst driving but fine to have a lit cigarette on the go ??
35. The obscene amount of tax on fuel.
36. Church clock towers and funds to repair them (more worthwhile things to use money on) - however prefect place for the sniper rifle
37. WAGS !!!!!!!! OMG
38. The fact I have run out of coffee in the office (can anyone tell yet?)
39. Speed humps on roads
40. Celery

(I'm loving this...............)
