He swam the channel today. 21 miles and he swam it in 10 hours and 30 minutes. Starting at 0531 and finishing at about 1600 today. If you haven't heard you mihg think it was some strange sketch for Little Britain, no hes doing it for Sports releif. He hope to raise £500,000 and so hes raised £432,001. I think its fantastic hes done this and all the money as we know will go to a good cause.

Saw it on the news yesterday and today. Well done that man - a courageous effort. I can't do the width of the local pool, so an act to be admired.

His time puts him amongst the all time fastest 50 to swim the channel.

Remarkable effort.

he must have been going at about a mile every half hour if my maths is correct, thats amazing he mst be incredibly fit
