we spent practically a whole year of spanish lessons learning about him, and watching films about him - in english!

you mean at school yeah? it was a total waste of time. we spent so much time watchcing english team. and then the one spanish film we watched we had to write an english essay on! it was ridiculous

That sounds pretty useless!! Why did they ask for the essay to be in English? I didn't think the English team was that good to watch!!

Bad news re my donkey. Apparently vets don't like castrating them under a local anaesthetic.

They recommend he goes to Chine House for an overnight stay and a general anaesthetic. Ye Gads! I should have got him BUPA cover. The jug eared honker only cost me 350 guineas and he's going to quadruple that in vet's fees.

Is anyone out there reasonably adept with a couple of house bricks?
