1) posting for the sake of it is rather pointless and wastes bandwidth, which is not limitless.
2) indeed they can, but that's what MSN chat, AIM, and private email is for

why can't you guys just get over it? start another one, start your own private forum, there are plenty of free sites about - then you can set up your own never ending thread.
And in anticipated response to the "don't post on it/read it if you don't like it" accusation. I didn't, and I don't. But I happen to think Iain's doing a good job, so I will say my piece regarding that. Crikey, it's an internet message board, not NATO - don't take these things so personally :)

at least it's hard to call me cliquey, i just fill my own little void or niche really. i am the raving looney party and my manifesto is...heck i don't even know what a manifesto is. like a vienetta but with cherries on top i guess.

actually, after 8 hours in the sun at Milton Keynes last Saturday, my skin is like Pancetta and my eyeballs feel like olives... :lol:
