Forum response times

Is it just me or has the forum been going like a dog this weekend, especially now?

It was when it was started. It was taking 15-20 seconds to display a page. I wanted to see if anyone else was having the same problem, and they were. Vry worthwhile to me and the other person.

Nothing to do with additional threads, there is work being done on the servers.

Might it be possible to put a "We are working on the servers" notice up in a prominent place when appropriate? I guess that, like most people, I just want to fly in, see what's new then fly out. Usually, it works perfectly but then 15 - 20 seconds is good at some points in the week; occasionally 2 - 3 minutes to load a page.
