Online voting
Dear Sir/ Madam
Regarding the current Player of the year poll, can I ask why we still need to complete a paper-based voting form and not have the option to complete the poll online?
I understand that paper forms are still required for some but I'm sure a large number would complete it online. It would make the whole process simpler, encourage more responses and the collation of results would be instant with no administrator intervention.
The functionality should be in place where by the site administrator has the ability to create and publish multiple polls and /or surveys
Come on Tigers this is the 21st century
All best
Tiger Dad
PS If the current web company can't provide the functionality, mine can.

Re: Online voting
I agree- I live in Dover so it's much harder for me to vote than if I lived closer to WR! Would save a lot of time for adding up as well if it was done on polls here!

Re: Online voting
Hello.... Is anybody there in the technical department.... I'm sorry I didn't realise I was asking for the complete workings on Newton’s Laws of Motion.
Surely having an online voting mechanism is a no brainer. Can anyone say when it will be launched? If not, can anyone tell us why?
Many thanks

Re: Online voting
It's been referred to the Club. I have not received any instructions to respond as yet but I will chase it up later tonight. Although a bit academic now for this year's voting anyway.

Re: Online voting
Thanks for the feedback Rizzo however disagree it's academic as if we're not careful we'll be in the same situation this time next year. It just needs agreeing and scheduling with the web company.
Besides, when deployed, it's not just going to make voting for the end of season awards easier, it should be used a valuable marketing tool and used throughout the year.
If the person at Tigers wants to discuss what the backend functionality should contain and e-survey etiquette, feel free to give them my details.
