Whoa - cracked Flash Player problem

Post by MelChannerFan »

I discovered from the Adobe site that I needed to install the Active X controls separately - which I did - with Zonealarm off of course.

I may still try Firefox sometime anyway.

Thanks for suggestions.

Glad you have got it sorted :)

I use Firefox all the time now, partly because of the potential security risks with IE, and partly because I hate Vista.

I use Firefox after a lot of technical problems with IE. A great open source browser.

WOW I have just installed Firefox and its great - easy to install, marvellous performance.

Thanks for the advice all.

Just noticed, it spellchecked my text (American! - I guess that's an option somewhere)

If you go to Tools, then Options, then Content - there is a thing near the bottom for selecting language choice. You could try that, as mine is set to English-gb
