Pink, white, both? Neither? Help! Please!

Please can someone explain to me why the index to a forum is sometimes copletely green on white, other times completely pink on white, and at other times a bit of both? Sometimes the posts I have visited turn from green to pink, which is OK, I know then where I've been. But often they don't!

My preference is set to green.

Why can I no longer get white on green, when I could at least get all of BillWs multicoloured "Keep The Faith"? I now get "Keep the". Dog on a lead? Packet sealed and store in a dry place?

I do not know what advantages the new look has provided to others, for me it is just a higher degree of frustration!

I have sent you a PM but if you can take a screenshot of the problems I will send it on to webmaster for checking. I don't think he can grasp the problem exactly as your profile and settings seem to be ok.
