Logging on

Post by Suz »

Hi,

This has happened a few times now, I log on the forum, but everytime I try to reply to a post I have to log in again?

Thanks

Suz

Presuming you have ticked the box to stay logged in when you complete the log in screen, have you also enabled cookies on your computer? Sometimes if you have your computer set not to permit cookies, it will not keep you logged in here.

Rizzo I think what Suz is referring to is a recent problem that I am experiencing too. When you enter your log in details it is taking you back to the forum index without having logged you in. Yesterday it was even crashing my computer if I tried to log in a second time. I am finding it will only log me in at the minute if I get to the login page by trying to reply to a post.

Hope this helps.

I think it is happening to me to.

I have to log on (username and password) twice. On the second logging on, it acts as though I have already been logged on and doesn't 'highlight' any new posts or threads.

Hope that makes sense.

Rizzo, Don't know if you have managed to find out/ do anything, but my problem, at least for the time being seems to have been cleared.

Thankyou.

I have experienced this many times but just tried to log in a second time and it seemed to work.

Are many people having this problem and how long has it been going on? So I can let Sotic know full details.

Quite a while for me but I didn't really think anything of it.

I seem to be having the problem again. To answer your question Rizzo on and off about a week.

Thanks, I will report it when I get home tonight. The site also seems to be loading really slowly too.

Any update on this, Rizzo ? :smt017

I tried to log on today, after not being on for a few days, and the above situation is still happening.
