Gonna be a great series,NZ hardly ever lose a game at home. Have they ever lost a series?

Only one I can find is 1937 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1937_Sout ... ew_Zealand

Game over at HT bar the shouting 32-10. Maoris have got to the outside so easy! Be a different ballgame altogether though when Ringrose is there

Thanks!
Further examination 1949 and 1986 Aussies won over there as did the 1994 French and also how could I forget 1971 Lions

On this showing though the first team of Ireland need to step up. This is bordering on embarrasing

32 - 17, so only a Ireland try in the second half.

If that’s the case I expect Chessum could sadly miss out with Ewels and Underhill on the bench but lets see.

I think Chessum might sneak ahead of Ewels on the bench. Eddie does like some impact and Chessum would offer that as well as covering both lock and 6. Ewels does seem to be a favourite of Eddie's though.

Agree on all counts! Don't know what the fascination with Ewels is I really don't.

So Loughman gets poleaxed in the 3rd minute but passes his HIA and comes back in the 13th. Farrell decided to keep him off at HT for precautionary measures. Shouldn't he have been kept off for "precautionary measures" after staggering around the pitch and having to be helped to walk off?! I know those involved are vastly more experienced/qualified than me but common sense tells me we need to go zero tolerance before someone gets seriously hurt!

Not a good look especially seeing how Loughman left the field, there is no way he should have come back on. I think I heard on Irish media that there are already concerns with the fitness of the Irish props on the tour so maybe they were hoping not to use Healy for such a long period of the game.
