Hopefully one of the delays is getting an extension from Reffell!!!
Let's hope it's a ten year contract!!

Don't hold your breath, Curry's a very good player but the cost plus attrition rate of opensides and number of England call ups would make that not very cost effective.

Ilione would be more in line with van Staden the Borthwick selected recruit at 7. In an ideal world we'd keep Tommy as well. Having the option to go to an openside at 7 and 8 next season would be nice. Games like LI or Quins who like to play at tempo we could really attack the breakdown and slow them down but still have the carrying ability. Allows Weise to rotate out occasionally as well.

I hope not. Curry is very good, but I get the feeling he fits into a Sharks or Saracens culture and not a Tigers' one.

Isn’t it Ben who was being talked about coming and not Tom?

Pretty sure it was Tom, there's a fair argument to say that if Sale had to choose to lose one Curry then Tom would be better as they get less time out of him

Crusaders have just announced Pablo Matera is leaving and thanking him for the (successful) season he spent with them - putting 2+2 together to get 9 and the fact that gossip as to his next club has been next to nothing so very much in the SB way of things I just wonder if today is the day for leavers and new signings...........?

most probably but I haven't seen a club announced - I just wonder if by not keeping Moroni we have opened up a 'foreign' player spot and perhaps Montoya has put a word in wanting a hard year playing in England for him rather than a soft season in Japan prior to a World Cup. Utter guesswork though!!

Best 6 in the world for me,I’d love him back! In saying that, his skill set is such that he could easily play 6,7 or 8 at any level ,he’s that good!

at his market value not a chance we could afford him but if MVS were to leave due to health and if he put other factors into his decision making such as playing with his Country captain, learning under Borthwick, getting conditioning from Aled and defensive coaching from Sir Kev then just, just maybe! :smt001
