Attendance numbers
Not sure if this has been reported on elsewhere, but according to https://rd.premiershiprugby.com/mobile/ ... 2021#18099
we have just had our best year since 2009/10, and what I suspect is our second best year ever (although I have not checked all previous years I know when the stadium was expanded I doubt I need to)
Saras are also a fraction of previous years which is a surprise...I assume due to not being in the top tier of Euro competition?

Re: Attendance numbers
If you assume a simplification of a ticket being £30, then multiplying those numbers out reveals a considerable disparity in income
Re: Attendance numbers
Hopefully the success of this year and the positive press it has produced (coupled with a more average season last year from the football club) will mean a further increase next year.
Some of the numbers at the bottom of that table realy are pretty shocking for crowd levels at top league clubs.

Re: Attendance numbers
Do you know which matches are counted in those totals?
From looking at the total it can't just be the 12 league matches, so I assume our figures are boosted by the cup successes and play-off semi.

Re: Attendance numbers
I wonder if Quins numbers have been swelled by the couple of games they played at Twickenham
Re: Attendance numbers
They definitely have. The Stoop can only hold about 12k-15k, so they'd have to play all 24 matches at home to get anywhere near that total if the Twickenham matches weren't included.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:51 am I wonder if Quins numbers have been swelled by the couple of games they played at Twickenham

Re: Attendance numbers
They are figures from Premiership rugby so I wonder if they include league and PRC games.

Re: Attendance numbers
19 home games this season gives an average of 17,756, so it is possible it is all home games from last season
Re: Attendance numbers
As it is a Premiership Rugby table, it could include all home League games, Premiership Rugby Cup and Play Off semi final?Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 11:21 am 19 home games this season gives an average of 17,756, so it is possible it is all home games from last season
16 games

Re: Attendance numbers
I honestly don’t know but none of the 4 European games had huge attendance with the Connacht game being less than that average.
That attendance figure by 16 games, as suggested by Tigerbeat is 21,087 which seems about right
