Heavier music next season

Post by jgriffin »

Since Tigers have a strong Indian connection, what about something a bit more modern than the old Smoke on the Water etc? As a 70 year old metalhead (no tatts but deffo got the t shirts, vinyl and tickets) been listening to Indian metal band Bloodywood. Brutal entry to the pitch music with lyrics about going to fight! :smt035 :smt035 :smt035

I'll let you tell Johnno then.......................................

So....what's wrong with one of Leicester's finest putting a Hamond organ through a Marshall guitar amp?

Bamp bamp bah, bamp bamp ba bah
Bamp bamp bah, bamp bah!

Loudspeaker getting too loud for me.

Stopped going to London Sevens as it was painful and frequent- lots of tries in Seven’s.
I hope it was just special occasion and next season back to normal, perfectly audible and not deafening.

I posted it because NOBODY can clap in time at WR, and it really jars! SOTW is 4/4 with a silent beat, everybody claps out of time!
BAM BAM BAM (CLAP)
BAMBAM BAM BAM (CLAP)
BAM BAM BAM (CLAP)
BAM BAM -SILENT BEAT -(CLAP)
or clap on the first BAM - but what happens even then people clap after the silent beat and then go out of sequence.
Usually it's a mix of both, and horrid. :smt035 :smt035 :smt035

Agree 100% about the loudspeakers being too loud. Can’t hold any sort of conversation.

I have to say, the out of time clapping is one of my favourite things at Welford Road 🤣

But then in certain areas of the ground you can’t hear them. The announcements aren’t all the time can’t you pause your conversation

It is quite amazing! I sit playing my air drums thinking, "How can you be so out of time - and then accelerate to an even worse time-keeping?" Love it.

I did cringe when SOTW was played at the end of the tribute to Tiffany Youngs on Saturday. It almost killed the naturally febrile atmosphere at the end of the applause.
