Steward was world class after the first 10 minutes today and neutralised Sarries game plan.
Big shout out to Hanro and Guy Porter who put in tremendous shifts. Porter in particular had an astounding work rate.
Performance of champions today. It was scrappy and far from perfect but the character and discipline was fantastic

I add in that the Foxes escaped relegation the season before by a gnats chuff and won it the following season. Bigger turnaround for me. Not to devalue Tigers efforts, which have been heroic this season in particular.Rugbygramps wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 5:43 pmBiggest surprise LCFC, I think in terms of turnaround this is the best when you consider the situation 2 years ago.WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 5:33 pmIt's a good/great one but I think LCFC still hold that title..just

I can report that I have just left the noisiest stadium and got on the noisiest bus covered in beer and all the time there just seems to be one word being sung -
Tigers ! Tigers! Tigers!
Now it’s time to paint the big smoke red, white and green

That ending was up there with Hamilton's catch, Hipkiss pinballing and Geoff Parling's final lineout steal.

Oh man! What a fantastic result. I am ecstatic, and even shedding tears of joy! Congratulations to the lads and SB. How lovely that TW was presented with the trophy, and how appropriate this was.
Well, the Tiger's family of supporters will be able to celebrate tonight, while the Sarries fans sulk.
We are worthy champions.

Get in!!!!!!!!!!! Huge huge cajones from Burns at the end there.
Someone give Borthwick, Walters and Sinfield freedom of the city, all of them heros today.
Massive massive defence won us that game.
Had to leave the TV and engage with the birthday party I was at, at full time so missed the trophy presentation, looking forward to watching back later and watching Tom Youngs and the team with the trophy...
So glad Ford, OTY and Genge get to sign off with silverware!!!
