Massive bias. He would probably have a coronary if he gave Tigers any praise

Found Dayglo irritating as a player. He always refereed the game when he was a player and now as a pundit he has not changed. And his view of Tigers is, I feel, jealousy.

It doesn't actually matter now, but having slow-mo'd the Ford try, I'm not sure that the ball touches the ground for the try if I'm honest. I think it's his arm that goes down. Ho hum, try ....7 points ...thank you.

It was definitely touched down. The grass stain was clearly visible on the ball when he got up. Thank god we havent got a plastic pitch

I've played it back a dozen times and it would have been disallowed if they'd reviewed the grounding I think, as there's nothing in the pictures or replays that shows the ball touching the ground. It may have done, but there's no evidence.

Carley, if had gone to the TMO, would have given on field decision try. The first downward movement may have caught a blade of grass (all that is needed) but it was so unclear that it would have been very difficult to disallow it. Had their been a Saints player in the vicinity of George when he was in the midst of scoring could have been different and a review made.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 1:23 pm I've played it back a dozen times and it would have been disallowed if they'd reviewed the grounding I think, as there's nothing in the pictures or replays that shows the ball touching the ground. That’s the key Carley would have awarded the try and there is no compelling evidence to suggest otherwise. Also logically the amount of the ball not showing is longer than the depth of Fords forearm. Irrelevant now anywayTigerbeat wrote: ↑Mon Jun 13, 2022 1:39 pmCarley, if had gone to the TMO, would have given on field decision try. He spent the game calling Porter - Potter and Cole - Coles. Considering the generally well informed group of commentators BT has managed to build up that Dayglo still has a job. Fingers crossed the moron isn't doing the final.

He is just an irritant from start to finish. Maybe that's his plan but I am certain BT Sport could find a whole host of less biased commentators. He might have been a top quality rugby player but listening to his commentary is not quite the same as watching him play.. I did have a little chuckle to myself hearing him whinge second half about Carley and his decision to yellow card the Saints player..
