Chessum and Reffell on the shortlist for the Discovery of the year. Though I think it's only called "Discovery" due to Land Rover being the sponsor. Think its the U23 player of the year award more than the "Discovery" though Steward not on the list so who knows...
For me Reffell had already come through last year, if it's U23 player of the year he wins it...
If it's "Discovery" of the year, for me it's Chessum, where he was at the start of the season to now is insane...

Re: Players Awards
Totally agree re Chessum from no where into the England squad within a season.
Have a feeling it will go to Arundell due to all the headlines surrounding him

Re: Players Awards
Yes,even though he’s still very young Tommy could be classed as a seasoned pro now. Certainly at domestic and European level anywayHot_Charlie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 01, 2022 12:17 pm80 player longlist apparently.
I'd have had him in over Tommy R purely as the latter's been around the top-flite for so long!

No notable absentees. Even the youngsters were there like Jacob Cusick. Dolly was there with his crutches otherwise known as Clare and Nadolo.
