Got picked vs Connacht away, the game we won on the last play with Saumaki's try, but he didn't come on.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

An added complication in Tommy's decision is the mooted reduction of Welsh regions from 4 to 3. Probably best to stay at Tigers if he can until that is sorted. He'd also have a better idea of where he stands with Pivac.

There are half a dozen or so Premiership players in the Wales squad. He knows that if he is good enough he will get picked and his best chance of getting better and better is at Tigers. Enough said.

Not beyond the end of his current contract thought and that's the issue

If he were to sign a contract extension to take him beyond the end of next season, would any cost implications only come int being at the beginning of the 23/24 season

Kyle Cooper leaving Falcons apparently. The move to prop has been farcical at times given how much he's understandably struggled in the scrum. He was a very good hooker prior to the switch though, as a hooker there's a good signing there for the right club.

The only position you should conver to a hooker from is a centre
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I'm 6 years older than him he played for our 3rds when he was 16 or 17. Different class even then. His entrance exam for Queen Mary's was by all accounts passing a ball through a tyre hahaGreenwhiteandred wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 1:03 amIf that’s the case I played against you Lichfield RFC and Lichfield Friary Grange - same age group as Rupert. I was doing the dirty workMrG2 wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 2:39 pmOne of my claims to fame is that I played rugby with Rupert and Richard Moon at Walsall. Their dad, Henry, was a stalwart member of Walsall RFC. They celebrate their centenary next season. Hoping to go along to an eventGreenwhiteandred wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 1:07 am
Rupert Moon played his formative rugby at Queen Mary’s Walsall and Walsall Rugby Club … I know as played against him many times at a junior level …. About as Welsh as Kevin Pieterson is English

Interesting

Between Gopperth, Ashton and Wigglesworth we have 3 of the most experienced Prem backs in the league and all want to transition/are transitioning to coaching.

This made me chuckle!
Not a fan of the term either.. second row works just fine for me but each to their own..

Each to their own of course. Front row you can be either prop or hooker, back row flanker or 8(number 8 if preferred) play second row, you play in the row. Just my understanding of courseOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 8:21 pmThis made me chuckle!
