We have tended to rotate away from home but this is a game we still need to win as we want to finish top and avoid a semi final Vs Quins. We've got a week off next week before this game as well which will be good to rest aching bodies.

1. Whitcombe
2. Dolly
3. Heyes
4. Wells
5. Snyman
6. Martin
7. Reffell
8. Weise
9. JVP
10. Burns
11. Saumaki
12. Scott
13. Moroni
14. Potter
15. Steward

Bench: Montoya, Genge, Cole, Chessum, Liebenburg, Youngs, Ford, Nadolo.

All the big guns are there if we need them but if not then back the squad to do the job. Rumours MVS might be back as well which would be ideal.

I think we need to target the win here and secure top spot.. would rather get that sorted and rest players the following week against Wasps knowing we have secured top spot. If we send a rotated side and lose the pressure is massively on in that final game and we could find Sarries leapfrog us if they beat Saints. If we pick up 5 points and Sarries only get 4 top spot is secured as we have more wins than Sarries so we can rest if required at home to Wasps.

15. Steward
14. Potter
13. Moroni
12. Scott
11. Nadolo
10. Ford
9. JVP
1. Whitcombe
2. Montoya
3. Heyes
4. Wells
5. Snyman
6. Martin
7. Reffell
8. Weise

Bench: Dolly, Genge, Cole, Chessum, Van Staden, Youngs, Burns, Porter

We don't rest players at home. Want the undefeated league season at home. Ideally Leinster will be the only blot on our home record this season.

Unless a player isn’t fit I honestly believe we need to make sure we put out our strongest side now we only have, possibly, 4 games left. Weise and Hanro are the ones who have probably played the most. They therefore might need a rest v Newcastle. Lose to Newcastle or Wasps and the confidence we had will be undermined.
Go strong and try to get the game sealed with 20 minutes to go to then bring on the replacements.
Lastly, I imagine today’s team/squad will want to go out in the Newcastle game to get back to winning ways.

They have a week off next week so should be good to go fully loaded against Newcastle and Wasps

I think if players are coming back from injuries we need to get them minutes on the pitch too
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Whilst we should be able to go fully loaded it would also be beneficial to get minutes into all the squad to keep them all short in case they are needed. There is a core of around 26ish that are likely to be used to getting them all some minutes would make sense.

I would mix it up more.
Although Falcons pitch always makes me worried.
I wouldn't risk anyone who has had any recent knee injuries in this game.

Personally would go with
1. Whitcombe
2. Dolly
3. Cole
4. Snyman
5. Wells
6. Chessum
7. Reffell
8. Martin
9. JVP
10. Ford
11. Saumaki
12. Scott
13. Porter
14. Ashton
15. Steward
Bench: Clare, Genge, Heyes, Green, Van Staden, Wigglesworth, Burns, Moroni

All the opinions above are sensible when seen from different perspectives. We need to secure top spot if possible, and leave Sarries and Quins to fight it out in 2nd and 3rd. I'm hoping Saints secure 4th spot...for obvious reasons...

Beating the Falcons is now a matter of getting back on the bike having fallen off, I would go big for this game.

And, after getting beaten at Cov community hall (or whatever it’s called now) I for one would struggle with losing to the noisy neighbours at home too!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

For me it’s full steam ahead for the next 2 games. Week off Newcastle week off wasps. Be good to give the likes of MVS Kelly Martin if fit game time in Newcastle then fully loaded v Wasps.

Losing to Wasps is really not an option…week off to learn from yesterday and then into Newcastle and the Wasps. We have managed to put out really strong teams for most games and look at the results. I believe that Borthwick knows what he is doing in regards to rotation. It was only 2 seasons ago all teams played their best against us knowing that they would have a try fest. All part of the Borthwick master plan. Blood the youngsters..short term pain, for what is clearly long term gain.
There is never any points for 2nd place...
