Sounds like we played poor but stepped it up at the end and bench added impetus?

8 points above Sarries who have Saints and Gloucester to play with maximum of 10 points.
So if Saints can deny a TBP win then we only need 1 point to secure 1st.

That bad guys? Dolly’s injury throw us off perhaps?

Quite happy with the win and the way they played…..it makes them realise that work still needs to be done, errors worked on and stay focussed for the eighty minutes……

We’ve won by 22 away from home and the usual suspects are saying it’s not enough of a performance to win against Wasps. This after a spell where I’m sure a broken leg affected some players. Can’t have been easy seeing your mate laying there like that. Great performance.

Always difficult to judge against Newcastle - they're not a great team but they always make life difficult so it often ends up being a bit scrappy. However, that performance doesn't inspire a lit of confidence, despite the points at the end. Too many errors in general, and it's becoming a bit of a gamble continuing to rely on Ford. He should have had enough time to regain form since the 6N by now, but he stills looks some way from his best.

We controlled most of the first half and not much possession for Falcons but just couldn’t unlock them. After the Dolly injury it did knock us back a bit and we didn’t take advantage of the extra man. Second half Falcons clearly had a kick up the backside and came out firing, but we hung in there and the bench was massive, Lady, Henderson, Reffell, Scott all very good. Could have been 5 points but ran out of time. Our attack is limited. If we don’t get points by forward domination or the kicking game we’re a bit lost.

Yes I think that's exactly it. We ended the game strongly.

From the sounds of it a poor performance. However still managed to win away from home by 22 points.
Difficult time of year, a big emotional loss 2 weeks ago, then weekend off, now we have another weekend off next week.
Even after that we are still top of the league with a home game to come before a home semi.
Obviously big negative Dolly injury, sounded serious.

Gutted for poor Dolly. If Montoya is carrying an injury then we are two hookers down...

Yes,Clares good but then there’s a drop off to TCD.
