Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
the tackler looked offside to me on that Genge non try
Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
Question, if Genge was actually not on the line, he is then strictly speaking not held up because he is not in goal? If so, why was that a drop out?
Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
This is the one new rule that I don't think they have got quite right, I know we have benefitted from it a few times this season but it does not really seem fair on the attacking team.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 3:43 pm Genge potential try ruled out for no sight of grounding.. seems harsh that they get the drop out!

Our ball retention has not been great all half.
Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
Yes. If he is short then still an offside line and Maguigan is offside unless ref blew up and he was just trying to block sight of the ball.

Fair point. Don't know the state of footing of those involved in the injury, so ignore my comment!chris111 wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 3:44 pmNot a fan of plastic - but don’t see how it was to blame for that injuryOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 3:42 pmI hate these artificial pitches.. too many injuries!markharbtiger wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 3:41 pm Don't know exactly who was to blame for that. he is completely ignoring them pre-binding
Re: Tigers v Newcastle (A) 21st May 2022 KO 15:00
Think most the refs have forgotten about that

He is rather good!

Nandolo is kneeling on the floor so technically out of the game so cannot then tackle. Defensive missed tackles seem poor today.
