It was exactly the same reasoning Dickson gave when Jamison Gibson-Park got a yellow mitigated down from a red, personally I don't have a problem with it as long as the other referees keep it consistent

It compares pretty similarly with the Gibson Park situation from a couple of weeks ago, so at least there is consistency in how this type of incident is punished.

True, I'll take consistency but for me that's worse than some reds we're seeing...
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Not sure how Koch isn't getting looked at there, looked like a forearm to the throat

That would have been incredibly soft if that was punished.

Didn't Esterhuizen get a red and a ban for something similar against London Irish

Sarries look like they found another gem in McFarland, I have been pretty impressed with him in the bits I have seen of him this season.

Murphy very light on Sarries offences. Gloucester looked anxious; first try against them was just poor panicked defence. Lineout poor for Gloc. Sarries growing in confidence, feeding on Gloc uncertainty.

Glaws need to sort their lineout out, think they've nearly lost as many as they've won.

Billy looks up for it. I’m impressed by his work-rate. Dombrandt, B Vunipola, Barbeary is not a bad set of options at 8.
Cheering on the Tigers in Detroit.
Previously a slower, shorter, less good looking version of Tom Croft.

Sarries getting away with things again?! But apparently it’s all in our head 😂

Not really, to my eyes the ref seems to be doing a decent job, Gloucester's yellow may have been harsh on closer viewing but they did seem to get away with a high hit on Goode a minute or so earlier.
