Weekend Games - 29th April to 1st May 2022

Post by Rugbygramps »

Starting off tonight with a couple of games.
Sale v Newcastle - Sale currently in 9th so need to be winning to be at Europes top table next year.

Northampton v Quins - Without doubt the tie of the round. Both teams pretty much at full strength, Saints missing Biggar, Quins missing Marler. I’m going for a 10 try blockbuster with Saints sneaking home for the win

Don’t even need the tbp. If Quins were to loose with 2 bonus points they would be on 74 with a max available of 84. We beat Bristol we will be on 85 without the tbp

Absolutely Scott1. They have Lawes back so might well be a close one, though without Biggar. I know there is some mixed feelings amongst the Saints faithful as they know a win for them will strengthen our position...

Yes you have to be in it to win it. Gloc were in the driving seat ,they might have blown it now it’s Saints turn. It’s in their own hands

Probably not much hope of Saints holding Quins under 4 tries.
