Sorry to see him go. Always full of commitment and drive. Proper Tiger.

Absolutely all the best to him and his family. I’m sure he will be given the chance to say goodbye properly before one of the 2, possibly 3 home games to go

Genuinely a bit emotional reading that statement.

I sincerely hope he gets a proper send off at WR at the end of the season.

Thanks for everything Tom!!

A true Tiger. Wonderful club man. And yes, a proper send off so we, the fans, can say thanks.

Remember him as a Scott Gibbs type centre. What a long road he has travelled, a great servant to the club.

Totally agree about his decision - a great family man - a great club man - and certainly a fan's favourite who deserves to be given one of the best sendoffs the club can arrange. Best wishes and thanks for your commitment to Leicester Tigers.

Let’s hope we get to both those venues but any send off IMO, should be from his rugby home

Very sad even though we knew it was coming, what a great servant to the club, I wish him all the very best for the future

I don't post on here these days but this is exceptional.

An extraordinary servant of the Club who's career achievements cannot be overstated. To have switched from Centre to Hooker at North Walsham would be impressive but 3 Test caps for the British & Irish Lions - a quite staggering feat of determination and skill.

None of this would matter so much if he weren't such a decent, down-to-earth human being. If there's to be a send off I'll be there whatever it takes.

tough as nails on the pitch but a nicer guy off the pitch you wont find. A real fighter who gave his all and will continue to.
