It was vs Bristol last year. He got cited for swearing at the ref after the game, served one week ban vs Wasps, the other week of it was down to him reffing a jnr game OR our first preseason game.Jimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 4:09 pmI meant his last real gamewormus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 1:38 pmTom's last game for us was the pre-season Tigers v Scarlets on 9th September where we came second 24 - 29 in a stop start game. https://www.leicestertigers.com/match/p ... ch-line-upJimmy Skitz wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 8:10 pm we all thought we knew it was coming, still sad, does anyone remember what his last game was?
Best wishes to Tom and his family in his retirement
Not really a game to remember or for Tom to be his last. But Tom did not play in any Premiership games this year and I wonder if by this he is not counted in the "players salary cap"
I met Tom several times at the Open Forum's and he was always informative and straight to the point a true gentleman.
When my neighbour and fellow season ticket holder celebrated a "very big " birthday I arranged for Tom to phone him on the day and like a true Tiger he did and spent a long time in conversation, a call my neighbour still talks about "his mate Tom!"
Thanks Tom for all the great times and I hope there are hopeful family times too.

Watch Ben interviewing his brother Tom. What an absolute hero. How the hell he coped I just cannot begin to understand.

The guy is phenomenal and to only come close to tears, on the production cut at least, is beyond me. Everything he and his family have been through....wow, just wow.

Just got him right at the end when he mentioned Tiff and Maisie.
That video should be played to all new academy recruits and new signings just so they know what a special club this is

Re: OTY retires
Perhaps a Youngs XV vs Youngs XV? Both to mix old faces and new in the off season somewhere?
No, not that one!
Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...
I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

Just watched the interview. Blimey.
I just wonder with the turn round of players nowadays, will you get that sort of dedication again?

One club men are going to become as rare as rocking horse poo, let alone spending 13 or 14 years at one club.
You never know we might be saying the same about Vanes, Whitcombe and JVP in 13 years time

Re: OTY retires
Great reception for OTY before kickoff, great to see the appreciation. Just sad I couldn't be there in person.
Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.
Re: OTY retires
A great send of to an all time great Tiger
Re: OTY retires
Spine-tingling stuff today. He got a lovely reception. Best wishes Tom!
Re: OTY retires
I just hope the club via LTTV put a short video out off the reception for OTY before kickoff in todays game not just for those who were not able to be there. But also as a reminder to Tom,Tiff & the family, just how much he has meant to this club of ours & always will do.
