Shame Arundell is English, Welsh and Scottish qualified. He’s Cyprus qualified as well, but that would be a real coup.
Talk of him going to Scotland earlier in the year, maybe as they see him as Hogg's successor.

Agreed Arundal is a good young player but he still has plenty to learn, Freddie is still learning as he progresses in fact on Thursday evening Eddie Jones said so himself also adding in a year or 2 our Freddie could be the best fullback in the world, big shout from EJ.

It's just how the media are with players like Arundell, because viewers/readers like to hear about the next big thing. As soon as he wins an England cap they'll start criticising his tackling ability.

Agreed - having watched nearly a full season if I had to pick the young player from all our opponents who has stood out, he’d be in the mix, along with Alfie Barbeary.LekkerTigers wrote: ↑Wed May 04, 2022 10:32 amHe's 19. Would either get into a first choice Tigers 15 right now? No. Would I love to see them in our squad and being improved by the best coaching team in the Premiership? Absolutely!
