Montoya apparently in a leg brace at ground today and Snyman went off with a niggle/injury.
Otherwise, agree go full pelt. Keep forgetting Murimurivalu - which is a crime as he's a great asset.

I don't suppose we might see George Martin?
Re: Quins v Leicester - 23rd April 2022 KO 15:00
Henderson too,and Robinson is an option as well.

Agreed, hopefully Montoya is precautionary, thought Claire was better when he came on.WhitecapTiger wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 7:48 pm Montoya apparently in a leg brace at ground today and Snyman went off with a niggle/injury.

Be nice to know what is happening with Martin, with Chessum likely out for 2 weeks

Just FYI, its Jansen not Hansen.
Definitely having Kini in the 23 shirt with Kelly and Porter out!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

If Snyman isn't fit, I'd leave Henderson on the bench for as long as possible because I'd really like him to be able to start vs London Irish to get minutes under his belt, but may not be possible.
I think if Martin is still injured I'd put Jansen on the bench, I like Robinson's experience for the cup.
If rumours of Montoya in a leg brace are true, even if that's a precaution, I wouldn't risk him vs Quins. This isn't a must win at all for us, as nice as a win would be, I'd rather lose and have Montoya ready for the knockout games than win and get rid of him for the season.

Agree, He is hugely important to us, without saying we are a one player team - which we are clearly not, he does bring that extra Oomph.TigerFeetSteve wrote: ↑Sat Apr 16, 2022 8:06 pm If rumours of Montoya in a leg brace are true, even if that's a precaution, I wouldn't risk him vs Quins. I prefer Claire to Dolly, Dolly was iffy today.

Dolly's better around the field though and Quins will throw it about. Suits Dolly's game more

Re: Quins v Leicester - 23rd April 2022 KO 15:00
Had a night to think about the team. Personally we can't pick a team for Quins without a plan for the Tuesday game vs London Irish.
Key areas for me are where we may be facing injuries:
Hooker vs Quins
2: Dolly, 16: Clare
vs L.Irish
2: Vanes, 16: Cowan-Dickie
Centre's vs Quins
12: Scott, 13: Moroni, 23: Murimurivalu
vs L.Irish
12: Socino, 13:Taute/Porter, 23:Cusick (Plus Hegarty @ 15 with Kini in the 23 vs Quins)
2nd & backrow vs Quins
4: Wells, 5: Green, 6: Liebenberg, 7: Reffell, 8: Wiese, 19: Snyman, 20: Jansen
vs L.Irish
4: L.Chessum, 5: Henderson, 6: Agbongbon, 7: Robinson, 8:Ilione 19: Douglas-Bridge 20: Koroiyadi
That's assuming the following are out: Montoya, Kelly, Chessum, Martin & Manz are all out. As the course reduction is s one time thing I'd be tempted to save it for Porter if Taute is fit to play, but we may need to play him vs London Irish as I think Kini who played 13 there in the last game will be needed to cover the centres on Saturday.
All things given with injuries and suspensions the fact we can put two teams like that out is impressive!

I prefer Claire to Dolly, Dolly was iffy today.
The introduction of Claire last night saw a huge improvement to our set piece. I commented on his scrummaging ability some time ago. I just don't get why he is sometimes seen as third choice behind Dolly. He works so much harder, covers more ground and is much more physical.

Horses for courses in my opinion. Claire against big heavy packs and Dolly on fast dry pitches.
