Glad some fans enjoyed singing the song but it’s not for me.
Didn’t like the other strange sounds too.
Keep it traditional: TIGERS, TIGERS.
Don’t like the drums at Irish, or the tannoy use at Bath and Wasps.

Can you elaborate please Ian? Not at the ground today and kept the sound muted on commentary due to the Dayglo effect.

I'll happily sing along and chant/cheer but I cannot for the life of me understand why Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" doesn't get suggested more/used. (Is it a copyright thing?)

Absolutely perfect, the chorus at least and can be repeated, IMHO.

Sounded like a good start to me but we'll still have some work ahead of us to really make it take off. Hopefully we're all up for it.
No, not that one!

Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...

I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?

Personally, I thought the band played a bit too fast. It was difficult to sing along at that pace and remember what line came next after a couple in the pub!
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

The tannoy use at Wasps is amusing in that it highlights the lack of support!

It went ok. I agree with an earlier post that the band played it a bit too quick. The restricting factor is the CAT stand is so big, that quite a few people need to sing it for it to have the desired effect.

Much as I’m going to sound like a party pooper, the lyrics seem to be addressed to the club ground asking that club ground to take us ‘back home’ to that same club ground when in fact we are already there? Put it this way, when I was explaining this to those around me I got a few odd looks!

I agree that the band didn’t help with their rendition
I can’t see what all the anti-song fuss is about

The words are simple and make sense
Why people are trying to analyse them as if it’s an O Level interpretation question relating to Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Nights Dream is beyond me!

Sweet Chariots is a totally inappropriate song which makes even less sense yet has been adopted by tens of thousands of England rugby supporters

Welford Road was incredible at Clermont and unified us all

It’s just a bit of fun and doesn’t mean losing our infamous Tigers monologue chant

I hope we all persevere and try again…every anthem has to start somewhere and I hope that we can adopt this one for us-it’s not as if we don’t have something to sing about this season !!

I agree. As long as it is not the noise / drums that Exeter fans produce... That is IMHO the worst of the lot.
