Mowgli for a curry. They do a great butter chicken and the prices are really reasonable.

Don't rush off too soon after the match, 2 hours of live music under the North Stand in the Final Whistle, you may get to sing an Irish tune or two, you can even help out Elvis!!!

Gonna have to try Mowgli after all the recommendations!

Good to have another place to try and it’s right next to Tonne for a craft ale or two after

Not sure I could fit a Crafty Burger in for dessert but that’s an option too 😂

First ever post on here guys so go gentle on me.

Followed Tigers most of my life from afar, although had annual visits to Welford Road since about the age of 6 with family. Due to Covid I haven't been to WR since Bristol in Jan 2020 so mega excited about this Sat!

Robert Peel and King's Head shall definitely be getting a visit prior to the match.

:)

Welcome Tigerstones, we are a friendly bunch who sometimes like to debate issues passionately, but isn’t that what forums are for. We usually kiss and make up in the end

2 Derry men will be in the Western Hotel, Western Rd for a few with our mates before the game, 20 min walk to the ground. You're all welcome

Ah the western - used to live 2 mins walk from there and in the other direction Nine Bar - both good spots

Enjoy!

LeinsterGuest wrote: Tue Apr 12, 2022 1:17 pm Hi all,

A few of us are making the trip from Ireland to Leicester for Saturday's game. Never been before so any advice on best pubs to go to before/after the game would be great.

thanks
Adrian
Where in the stadium are you standing/sitting.

Blue Boar is a very nice prematch pint.
North stand. Blue Boar seems to be a popular suggestion so will give it a go. Ale might be the best option as Guinness isn't great in the UK from my experience!

Thanks again all for suggestions. Hopefully we will see you in the 1/4 final.

I can confirm the gelato place is still open. Giggling Squid next door (in St Martins Square) is good for Thai food too
