Champions' Cup: last 16/Quarter finals and semi finals and final
In the last 16 there are 8 French sides, 5 English and 3 Irish and this is the way I see the how the European Champions' Cup will finish (of course I'm biased!!):
Last 16
Stade Français v Racing
Sale v Bristol
Montpellier v Quins
Bordeaux/Bègles v La Rochelle
Toulouse v Ulster
Exeter v Munster
Clermont v Tigers
Connacht v Leinster
Quarter finals
Racing v Bristol
Montpellier v La Rochelle
Toulouse v Munster
Tigers v Leinster
Semi finals
Racing v La Rochelle
Toulouse v Tigers
Final Racing v Tigers
Winner Hmmm, let me think on that!

Jeez if we see off all of Clermont, Leinster, Toulouse and Racing no one will doubt the title of best in Europe will they. Blimey that's potentially some very tough games.
I'd maybe argue with your assumptions of Bristol beating Sale and Montpellier beating Quins. I'd expect Sale to grind Bristol down. Quins Vs Montpellier could be very close.

I thought we were guaranteed a home QF and SF (in England) ? So SF would be Tigers vs Toulouse (hopefully) ………can anyone confirm? Thanks

Re: Champions' Cup: last 16/Quarter finals and semi finals and final
so we cant possibly face a higher ranked team if I read this correctly - therefore home country or home advantage (tbc)
Less is more....

Can’t confirm it stats wise but it seems to me teams have struggled coming off a bye week or a cancelled game. Hope we can buck the trend at Clermont.

I’m gonna stick my neck out and say if we get through and beat Leinster we will win it!

I reckon the BT Sport pundits will still find something to criticise Tigers about..sam16111986 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:43 pm Jeez if we see off all of Clermont, Leinster, Toulouse and Racing no one will doubt the title of best in Europe will they.

I hope they do - it's a further return to our DNA of "no-one likes us" and shows we must be doing something right againOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 1:37 pmI reckon the BT Sport pundits will still find something to criticise Tigers about..sam16111986 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:43 pm Jeez if we see off all of Clermont, Leinster, Toulouse and Racing no one will doubt the title of best in Europe will they.

I did think on Sunday that Healey and Dayglo were quite positive about us, but quite down on Exeters lateral movementOakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 1:37 pmI reckon the BT Sport pundits will still find something to criticise Tigers about..sam16111986 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:43 pm Jeez if we see off all of Clermont, Leinster, Toulouse and Racing no one will doubt the title of best in Europe will they.

The Mercury did an article showing the stats proved the opposite, but none of those were surprising results.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.
