Great win for the boys, plus two good tries from the player heavily linked with us!!!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

That'll be a collectors item in of itself!
I'm sure Sinfield and Smith have been working with him on his defence. He always willing to get stuck in just needs to improve his positioning and technique in the tackle and under the high ball. We've got good coaches they'll bring him on. You can't coach the power, acceleration and balance he's got.

So if Gloucester, Worcester and Newcastle all win tomorrow we fail to qualify.

If Saints beat Newcastle the other results are irrelevant.

So by my maths we can only fail to get through if Newcastle, plus two out of Worcester, Gloucester & Bristol overhaul us

Us 15 points

Newcastle 11points (game vs Saints)
So they need 5 or big points difference swing

Worcester 12 points (game vs Bath)
So any Worcester win or draw with TBP

Gloucester 11 points (game vs Bristol)
So any win puts them throuhh

Bristol 10 points PD (game vs Gloucester)
They would need 5 points with a huge points swing

So essentially if one of Bristol, Saints or Bath win we gl through...

Great win but not getting that losing bonus point v Newcastle could be costly.
Expect Newcastle to get 5 points at Saints tomorrow.
Think there have been lots of positive performances in the Premiership Cup so now we can fully concentrate on Europe and The Premiership Play Offs.
Proud of the Tigers.

With a place for best 2nd place also up for grabs we would need all results tomorrow to go against us tomorrow, so odds are we'll make the semis

Ta muchly!
41-26 now so 3 scores ahead with that pen
It's all sounding a bit Benny Hill Show; I'm sure the video replay tomorrow will be more enlightening than the BBCRL coverage, and might therefore paint a different picture.
As far as restarts go, what ever you have in your minds eye, it was worse.

Fingers crossed then. It would be great for the youngsters and the ones who won’t get much game time in the first team squad to have a go at getting to a final.
I’ve fond memories of our win at the Stoop in the cup where a young Ellis Genge was in tears to win his first professional medal. That day though belong to Freddie who had a very controlled game in a swirling wind.

Just on train back to Peak District . Pretty decent crowd and atmosphere. Some real end to end stuff so enjoy the replay. The comedy of restarts has been mentioned. Some performances, especially Phil Cockanasiga.

Stand out positives for me tonight?
1. Ilione very impressive - strong carries, dominant tackles and good hands.
2. If he’s definitely coming our way next season, Phil Cokanasiga!

Since I’m focused on positives, I’ll gloss over the restarts…

Apart from the poor restarts, I think we actually played quite well. Set piece was dominant, and we defended pretty well against an expansive Irish side. Scored some nice tries of our own.

Will Hurd is worth having a proper look at. Lewis Chessum could be a real asset with a bit more bulk. Ilione will be capable of stepping up. Jansen and Robinson might be worth sticking around. Lancaster had a much better game than last week.

Shame for Joe Browning, who appeared to be vomiting on the pitch after about 10 minutes...

Finally, judging by tonight, would be happy to pick up Cokanasiga! Maybe we can nab his bro, too.
