Perhaps they will in a year or so.

As someone who is sceptical of the idea that the Italian senior team has improved, I think it's only fair for me to agree that the U20 side has shown consistent improvement since 2018.

From 2008 to 2017 they achieved 4 victories in 10 seasons. From 2018 to this year they have achieved 6 (7 if they beat Ireland in the last match) victories in 4 years.

Some of the players from the 2018 side have started emerging in the senior side, including Luccardi who has looked very useful this season. In 4 years or so all of these youngsters should have had the opportunity to progress and we'll see if they can live up to their early promise.

Perhaps there is still hope for them...

Yes Hendrickson. Just shows what an effect this 6 nations can have with Worcester beating chiefs and Saracens beating Falcons by a point

Means assuming we get a TBP win today that Exeter (Who are currently 4th) need to get 21 points from their final 5 games to overtake us and that's with us getting nothing from our final 5 games.

Beat me to it sir. Yes that’s right, to a certain degree Saracens results are irrelevant as it’s top 2 that’s important. If Bristol can beat Quins tomorrow things looking good
