Unfortunately not the case in rugby.
Personally I’d adjust that to read “fortunately” - I find it heartening that rugby can trust referees’ professionalism to trump any personal allegiances!

Potential try of the season scored by Saints at Gloucester moving coast to coast

I might be wrong but I think it's technically impossible for Bristol and below teams to now catch us.

Bristol have 34 points, 7 games to play max 35 points so yes you’re right. So the worse we can finish is 9th

If Ashton ever took up the whistle he'd have struggled to get games if he couldn't ref his old sides! 🤣

Bath v Bristol , Bath just about beat a Bristol side down to 14 men for 50 mins and 13 for 20 of those. Pearce gave one of the yellows, Thacker, for repeated infringement in the red zone. Definite red, De Glanville much quicker than his Dad ever was

Van de Merve red in the Irish game for using his elbow to hand off in the face. No different really to a swinging arm tackle. Will be missing for the Scots next week now

Exeter looking very good: lots of pace in their backs!
Really feel we have to find some attacking threats from the backs soon!
The Premiership is building to be the most exciting fight for top 4 and then 5th and 6th for a long time!!

Sale lost De Jäger Ill and then Wiese early doors but Exeter are destroying their scrum at present

Ewers Kristen and Vermulen all back playing gives them a good supply of quick go forward ball

Sale’s tackle count: missed 14 out of 23 after 20 minutes! They haven’t turned up today!!
Another try for Exeter!

Sanderson will blame England for that....
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Such a shame that Sale are having a tough day of it. Really can't stand Sanderson at all. Love seeing him squirm.
