Sam Harrison on the Rolling Maul Podcast

Post by iceman_19 »

Evening all

Elliot and I try not to bombard the forum with links to the podcast but, throwing away any sense of modesty, our last episode was one of our favourites to record and it felt too good not to share.

All the usual nonsense like reviewing the Gloucester win, looking ahead to the game at Sarries and debating who has been our best import in the 4 shirt, but it was made special by the fact that Shazam joined us for a good chunk of it.

Top bloke, many a funny tale, and now one of the biggest Tigers fans on the Gold Coast. If you’re bored, have a listen and I hope you enjoy!

It's always a very good podcast - but the recent ones with players, coaches and now ex players really have stepped up.

Shazam gives some great insights and a reminder of the player who we all loved.

Superb as always, keep them coming. Loved the one where Aled dropped in with a great insight into the performance aspects and how it's contributing to the amazing success.

It does come with a bad language warning! Apologies if that’s not to your taste.

Shazam is on about 10 minutes in, for about an hour and 10, because he kindly joins us in reviewing the Gloucester game too.

This one is a bit longer (1 hour 50) because we have Shazam on, but usually we run at 1 hour 20 or so. Always lots to chat about!

Oh I'm no prude, it just seemed a bit Gordon Ramsey thats all.

I'll have to keep listening in installments. Cheers.

Shame about the bad language so not for the ears of minor Tiger fans whom otherwise would probably enjoy listening to it

Perhaps a kids podcast is the next step! We don’t go out of our way to use language, and we’re not as blue as several other podcasts out there. But I accept we won’t be to everyone’s taste!

Either way, hopefully it doesn’t detract from Sam’s bit. Cracking bloke and now just an out and out fan.

My first listen and I enjoyed it for the most part. I love swearing typically but doesn’t quite feel quite right on the podcast but I get that it goes hand in hand with the blokey-beer-rugby culture. I’ll listen again for sure. Thx.
