Watson could be a brilliant signing. Yes, he will probably be away with England for large parts of the season, but he's the sort of player who can add the quality you need against teams like Leinster.

Your favourite Restaurant has given you a hot towel and said have this large glass of port and 10% off the bill with this news …it’s the gift that keeps coming!
Really good signing and that is some back line we have…with options too, which is a new thing after the last 5 years.

So Jansen and Cracknell can play across the back row, Watson can play wing, FB or outside centre, Cockasinga can play inside or outside centre and outside back, Gopperth can play fly-half, centre or full-back, and Kini can play just about anywhere.. some incredibly versatile players re-signed and signed today.. with the reducing cap these are some fantastic signings

If we've learnt anything from SB's tenure to date, one thing is that he does value versatility!OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Thu May 12, 2022 6:17 pm So Jansen and Cracknell can play across the back row, Watson can play wing, FB or outside centre, Cockasinga can play inside or outside centre and outside back, Gopperth can play fly-half, centre or full-back, and Kini can play just about anywhere.. some incredibly versatile players re-signed and signed today.. with the reducing cap these are some fantastic signings

According to Watson he’s hitting faster speeds than he ever has done before.

To get back in the England team he needs to show form & fitness so that side is a bonus for Tigers..him & Steward away at the same time less so.
Just a few loose ends to tidy up now then we will have an idea of next season's squad, personally I wonder if there are a couple of players leaving we aren't expecting.
To win is not as important as playing with style!

Might not be our first choice backs division but how about:
9. Youngs
10. Pollard
11. Watson
12. Kelly
13. Cokanasiga
14. Potter
15. Steward
Some serious skill and pace in there.. exciting times!

Just kinda worrying who is leaving, we know Ellis, George and Nadolo are away, any others confirmed or are they just rumours.
