I meant more 'why is there another match on at the same time as ours?' - surely they're not both on TV, so why have they scheduled two fixtures to clash?

Or is the answer "because... Premiership rugby"??

The French side to face Ireland:

15. Jaminet ; 14. Penaud, 13. Fickou, 12. Moefana, 11. Villière ; 10. Ntamack, 9. Dupont (capitaine) ; 7. Jelonch, 8. Alldritt, 6. Cros; 5. Willemse, 4. Woki ; 3. Atonio, 2. Marchand, 1. Baille.

Remplaçants: 16. Mauvaka, 17. Gros, 18. Bamba, 19. Taofifenua, 20. Flament, 21. Cretin, 22. Lucu, 23. Ramos

Two changes from the side that beat Italy. There was talk of moving Woki to the flank, but he stays in the 2nd row and Toulouse's Cros is at 6 instead of Cretin who's on the bench. Centre Dante is injured and is replaced by Moefana (21 years old/3caps) of Bordeaux.

This'll be France's toughest match for a while and the winner will probably be 6N champions. There's a 6/2 split on the bench with scrum half Lucu and fly half/fullback Ramos.
Will France click as we know they can or will they be overpowered by the physicality of the Irish?
I'll not be betting on the result!

The BRizz one perhaps because on a 6 nations weekend you get a bigger crowd on a Friday night ?

Warburton bigging up Taine Balham the Wales open side before the Scottish game. Saying he could be there for the next 10 years and he’s only 22. Be interesting to compare him to Reffell

Wow - that's about the first penalty advantage over I've seen in about 3 seasons!
