Not the worst first half. Looks like the players are a bit too up for it if that's possible, just a bit over-excited at times with the odd unnecessary offload that wasn't on and that silly quick throw in. Ford clearly rusty but I'm confident he'll play his way back in.
If we can be a little more level-headed with decision making and sharpen up handling in their 22 then we should get a good result.
And yes, that was 100% forward on their own line and they are regularly offside by a considerable margin.

I think he has been consistent and fair, all you can ask.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 4:10 pmI’d say the ref has had a decent first half and has totally ignored the home crowd thankfully but he and the officials have missed a fair few offsides and sealing off at the breakdown by them and what looked to be a fairly forward pass in the build up to their try.. that said I think he’s a good referee and has been decent thus far
As for those saying get Fordy off it’s 10-10 in a bear pit with a young 9 inside him give him a chance
We do seem to be wanting to pick the pace up maybe thinking some of their aging legs will tire

Is it just me, or is Camille Lopez becoming the French Andy Goode?

Honours even and enjoyable game. And that includes decisions given (and missed) by the ref. Two well coached teams going at each other.
Genge, Leibenburg and Montoya immense.
Will be interesting if the “Aled Walters Effect” gives us an advantage over Clermont in the final quarter.

So Ford is rusty due to underuse by England and the proposed response is to take him off rather than allow him to regain some match fitness and form in time for the 2nd leg of this fixture and upcoming matches like the one against Harlequins in the premiership? Sorry but i just don't get it.
If we were losing badly or looked out of touch then Burns might be a good option but as we are level and looking capable of winning leave him on so he can play himself back into match fitness.

Tigers for the premiership and European Cup. Get behind the team and make some noise!!

That turn over by Reffell is why he needs signing on a good 5 year contract…
There is never any points for 2nd place...

No, not that one!
Remember, whatever you do to the smallest of the backs you do to his prop, and you can't avoid the rucks and mauls forever...
I know you don't like it when I boo him but how else will he know he's wrong?
