Damian Penaud won’t be available for six weeks and will not only miss the Tigers’ matches but key Top14 games for the end of season playoffs. A cruel blow.

Hoping we go full strength at Clermont. Of course, we will need to use players wisely over the coming weeks, but we may/should have the luxury of some less essential Premiership games before the play offs and progress in Europe is achievable for this squad. Even a 10 point defeat would leave hope for the home leg, but Clermont away needs some of our biggest, nastiest men to perhaps compliment the less experienced up and coming starlets.

Due in France tomorrow. Weather is apparently dire, but forecast to clear by Sunday.

On our way! Bought the Telegraph...sorry...only to find a pic of Matt Scott labelled as Dan Kelly, the influencer. Excellent journalism lol. Thank God we avoided Dover.

They're not the only one to make a mistake previewing this game...

The beeb seems to think Penaud, a player publicly announced as injured for the opposition and out of both legs, is the key player to watch in the game...

Lots of attack in there, could be a stormer of a second half as our fitness tells and gaps open.
