This game is on ITV, so free to watch!
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

He fills the Borthwick mould of being able to cover more than one slot. I don't remember seeing him at 15 before for us but he's certainly nailed down the 14 shirt. With Hegarty, Burns and Murimurivalu all in the squad as well as Steward, that's a decent set of fullbacks.

Our wait for Mr Barnes continues! We still haven't had him yet this season - or am I forgetting a match?

There's currently an eight-point gap between Tigers and second-placed Saracens, who go to Wasps on Sunday followed by a home game against Bath, so that gap will inevitably become narrower.
I'm always optimistic that Tigers will win, but travelling to Sale is never an easy game. A bonus point win may be too much to hope for but I'd be chuffed to bits if they can eke out a narrow win!

Be crazy considering how brilliant the season is that we are only potentially 2 games from being overtaken!

Tigers winning run took the spotlight and few have noticed how ominously good Saracens have been. We were very fortunate to beat them and for me they are still strong favourites for the title.

Not sure I’d say they were ‘strong’ favourites, and as for being fortunate to beat them, I’d agree only as far as the timing of the fixture - catching them very early as they readjusted to the intensity of the Premiership. On the pitch we simply edged out a very even game.
I’d agree with you on the broader point, though. Currently in a match on neutral territory - with fully-fit squads - I’d probably take Sarries to edge it maybe 6-7 out of 10.

For those who’d see this as a lack of faith in Tigers, I’m just being realistic - and given that 2 years ago I’d have tipped Sarries to win 96-97 out of a 100, it feels like a pretty good time to be a Tigers fan!

Sarries and Quins will be right in the mix at the end of the season I have no doubt. Games against Sarries, Bristol and Quins all could have gone either way and then all of a sudden the table looks completely different and the headlines are how Sarries have shot straight back to the top. We have earned those wins no question about it however we have had some good fortune along the way and until recently have had a decent injury free period. Some big matches coming up now for sure
