Bordeau have qualified but are very unlikely to get into top 4 of group and no chance of top 2 so i can't see them sending the full crack next week - go hard and get the 5points - just in case :smt002

I don't know when we will lose our internationals but I suspect that they will not be available for the Sale game but if they are not going to be available, I would include all of them for the Beagles game - no point in resting them for that the game and then not having them available for the Sale game anyway. The squads for the internationals will be announced this week and that would drive my selections. If they are going to be available for the Sale game then I would play them all in that game and rest some for the Beagles.

This is a very good point. First match is on 05 Feb so the squad will likely gather the week before. Sale match is on 30 Jan so as you say it's unlikely we will have the likes of Genge, Youngs, Steward and maybe Dolly, Wells, Kelly, Scott, Reffell depending on how the selections go. If they will miss the Sale game as expected I agree that I would give them a run out in Tigers colours at home vs Bordeaux.

My money would be on a very similar side to the one we saw against Connaught, and the European legs before Christmas. SB to date has been consistent with the type of squad used in European games, IIRC it was the same last year too. They've done well so far, why change and what sort of message would it send to those who've got the team this far? Thanks for doing your bit lads, but let's give the glory games to the big boys now?! What an excellent way to drive a wedge through the squad that would be.

Still. IBWT

Perhaps a little stronger than Saturdays squad, but overall plenty of rotation.

Pick a side that will likely play Sale and put the Ints on the bench for a last run out.

I agree if we're not going to have our internationals for the Sale game, get them all in for the Bordeaux game.

I know we haven't really been targeting Europe, but if we have a chance at an 'easier' route with more financial gain for the club then I think we should go for it.

Hanro was playing golf at Market Harborough GC last week (with Wiese), and a friend asked him how his shoulder was. "Pretty good" or something similar was the reply, so that's good news. Obviously it's good enough to play golf!

You'd imagine if he was playing golf it would have to be :smt002 :smt003

Hanro didn't have a choice after being outed in playing golf...

No sign of a certain rather large Fijian Winger...

Have we seen Kobus van Wyk at all this season? Outside of the Premiership Cup that is.

Didn't he play in the Sarries match? I seem to remember him failing to impress in one of those early home matches.
