40-7 approaching half time, isn't it against the rules of the Champions Cup to throw games by sending B teams?

Not sure what the squad rules were then but TB is right,you can send anyone you want on the registered list

I think Saints got fined but players were not required to be registered so they could use anyone. The regulations then changed to try and ensure that this did not occur again so a playing squad has to be registered for the Comps.
