Newcastle hardly got into our 22. Great effort considering the lack of back row. Credit to Newcastle's defence. When the weather eased in the second half, I thought we might really stretch away but we went through a dodgy patch of mucked up line-outs etc, tiredness? I was also worried that with backs in the scrum and Newcastle's being vaunted as the second best in the country we might be in a little trouble. But no. Newcastle were second best alright - to us!

Bit presumptuous, how do you know it wasn't down to technical difficulties (they do exist) or, what if THEY are a SHE or simply a THEY? May not be a male at all. Tut Tut. :smt005

TBF the old 'if you're playing rubbish the ref is on your back' case carries a lot of truth. This season our play has taken the ref out of the game, long may it continue :smt023
Dickson was definitely better than usual today, however, I agree he wanted to even things up a bit in the second half.

According to a Falcons' fan online, playing away at Tigers with Dickson in charge they never stood a chance....

+1, I thought for a moment he was looking to do his usual, but somehow he refrained!

If it was technical difficulties.........they've been there for a while.

I'm not getting drawn into an argument on the other points made. 😀😀

Couldn't go today as had a golf game this morning and family commitments afterwards. BUT managed to watch the 2nd half on Cheltexile's link to Stan Sports.........worked perfectly, thank you very much!!

I thought Stan was an Aussie stream that you have to watch via VPN, so can someone explain why this worked so well and how we access this in the future?

Good performance in poor conditions, with a depleted team, really enjoyed it!!
