My wife and I are going and staying 2 nights, if its off, I hope they declare it early, I don't suppose Hotel or Club will refund bookings etc? This was arranged months ago as a Christmas treat, don't want to lose money like my France cancellation.
I had a meeting at Ashton gate the other day and the safety officer was very confident of the game going ahead. 22k people with the ground selling out fast. Obliviously it’s down to boris but Bristol are confident it is going ahead. They have good Covid checks in place both so should be a smooth entry. Quite professional to be honest. Hope this eases yours and the wife’s concerns.
Thanks Doc, looking forward to it, especially with the team selection, Hoping to enjoy a win and hotel catering etc. Happy Christmas.

I am assuming not but do we know anything about Hanros current injury status? Is he being given a proper recovery to ensure he’s fully fit for later in the campaign, esp during 6N?

I don't believe Borthwick has commented on the injury but as it appeared to be the same shoulder as before I'd expect us to give him more time to get it right, it might even need surgery. There's certainly no urgent need to rush him back so the club will be looking to get him 100% right.

I agree this has potential banana skin written all over it.

Even from a leadership point of view, Lenny did well and seems to be able to communicate well with the ref. We have Ford also, who has skippered us numerous times, Wiggy, JvP as well as Ellis so we're not short of options in that regard

People, events and things (many and varied) have a nasty habit of either coming back to haunt you or hitting you hard on the chin. Hope this match falls into neither category.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Nervy one this one.
Can see us losing this if we don't keep Bristol in check.

Our kick chases need to be a lot better than it was in the last 2 weeks

No idea why I feel so nervous and anxious about this match, it isn’t as if it is a must-win game. Perhaps to do with Genge and last season’s fun and games.

As I seem to think with all games these days, if we keep 15 on the pitch throughout we should be OK.

Eli Snyman withdraws with illness and is replaced in the starting lineup with Calum Green, perhaps still struggling with the after effects of Covid & Malaria?

Just a thought its very odd that grabbing an arm in the air at the lineout is a pen but doing the same in open play is fine

You’d think Bristol were 14 nil up the way Ugo is droning on. Most of the game played in Bristol’s half so far
