Bordeaux away

There are still flights from Stansted to Bordeaux on the 9th or 10th and back on the 12th or 13th for approx £75 pp return including two cabin bags per person. The dreaded Ryanair.

Supposed to be going skiing in Switzerland on the 18th for 4 nights, but with the new Swiss quarantine laws, that looks like being off, so might think about this trip instead......

Where is everyone staying?

Anyone planning to travel to Bordeaux, from the UK, had better plan on getting a Neg Covid test (irrespective of vaccine status) in order to enter France.

Can't see that changing between now and the match- unless to ban entry altogether - but who knows.

Only ever intended to give an "as early as possible' assist / 'heads up' to those travelling from within UK, so they could maybe be aware, prepare and start to research the requirements in as much time as possible.

The French Government website doesn’t seem to be updated yet but The Independent is reporting that from Saturday all non EU visitors (ie regardless of vaccine status) will require certificates evidence of either a PCR or an Antigen (lateral flow test), negative and taken less than 48 hours prior to arrival. So effectively a fit to fly test.

Just heard Gov.uk saying we have got to take a test before we travel, not self administered, must book and take test.


I'm going to read more but they are really making it difficult to travel.
