Undoubtedly Borthwick values versatility, you still need the players to buy into that as well, but what is becoming apparent is the players will run through walls for him! :smt023

I spoke to Cowan Dickie by the Droglites, he didn't have any strapping on ankle and said he was fine, he ran off to get changed, so I guess he's ok for next week.

Great news
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I find it unsurprising that Whitcombe lasted so well playing at 6, playing in the front row is so much harder than anywhere else on the pitch that an alternative position must be an easy ride, now if we can play a back at prop and he lasts twenty minutes then that would be an achievement.

With Burns and Hegarty potentially out maybe we will see Whitcombe at 10 or 15 against Wasps :smt002

There's a video of him taking part in a drop goal competition with the England under 20's and he hit a beauty, sure he'd fit in just fine.

Can’t say I’ve played both ,but as the laws of the game have changed and more scrums in the game has been taken over by way more breakdowns I’d no longer say the front row get through the most work in the game and looking at stats I’d hazard a guess that the back row get through the most work in a game these days. Probably even second row before prop too.
