Not sure what highlights will come from Tigers…….only one camera covered the game.

I did think Sir had a decent game, without the backup of a TMO

I do worry about the future of our game if we get all focus on internationals and not even two cameras at these cup games. Premiership rugby need to invest in future viewers. After enjoying international games an advert for free YouTube highlights of other games could transfer some international only viewers to club rugby.

I thought there was a blatant crossing for Sale's first try and I could not see why Heyes was penalised for the collapsed scrum. I thought he missed the crossing and was totally wrong with Heyes decision. :smt017

Loved the result today, great to beat Sanderson’s overloaded side. But a few niggles nonetheless. Line out really struggled, as with taking restarts, way too many dropped balls, poor lifts, overthrows. Scrum on the back foot after the subs. KVW anonymous. Again. Looks to be treading water but at least no brainfarts. Not a good enough performance overall, to be honest, but good enough to win. Plenty to work on, but the defence and effort were outstanding (from most), and really glad to come away with a W.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised….

I am pleased that there was only one camera otherwise we MAY have had people on the naughty step. The tackle on their SH in the 1st couple of mins looked very high and with a shoulder to head from where I was sat which was some distance away. IWas anyone closer to the incident and can enlighten me???

For me. as always, it tends to be the end result - matters not how the win is achieved (pretty or not) so long as we get it.This was a good result against an experienced Sale side - made all the more satisfying by events in the background.I concur that we were 'good enough to win only' and that we did struggle in certain areas but that does not detract from a tenacious performance by a young side with some not in their 'natural' positions.
As always plenty to work on , but at last it seems that as a collective we are willing to do that work to improve.
Seemingly heading rapidly toward senility .....Not long or far to go now , in fact, getting worse daily.....

Whitcombe was the first prop to start outside the front row since 1967 and played 74 minutes, ridiculous fitness for a prop playing in the back row!

If Clare is fit to play, I'd be tempted to start him, have Vanes on the bench. TCD needed a lot of strapping on his ankle after he went over on it, then had more on it after he came out on it the 2nd half.
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

Nottingham have London Scottish on Friday night so I wouldn’t think that Hall or Poullet will be available....for Tigers.
