Thanks RB.. What a beauty! Reminds me of Jordan Crane knocking one over in the penalty kicks shootout against Cardiff a few years back..RagingBull wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 1:52 pmhttps://youtu.be/Bg_wguSzEhM?t=66OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 12:16 pmWith Burns and Hegarty potentially out maybe we will see Whitcombe at 10 or 15 against Waspsjohnthegriff wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 11:33 am I find it unsurprising that Whitcombe lasted so well playing at 6, playing in the front row is so much harder than anywhere else on the pitch that an alternative position must be an easy ride, now if we can play a back at prop and he lasts twenty minutes then that would be an achievement.

Hegarty looks safe as houses kicking from the tee and Lancaster looked the same when he took over. Great line for Porter's try late on to seal the win. Some poor defending for their first and last try but given the makeshift side and the lack of game time it's an impressive victory and a great 4-0 resultPellsey wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 4:21 pm Here are the points from the game... https://youtu.be/ijawtAa0z_8

Interesting on theTigers podcast listening to Brett Deacon talking about Agbongbon. Loughborough lad who just tears into everything he does in training and got the train down to Leicester for the game !!! Brilliant!

We don't see much from the highlights but comparable to the players around him at the last try he looks a pretty hefty lad at 19. If he's as dynamic and aggressive as suggested he could be an astute pick up. Getting some more game time at the Uni will help his development as well as training with Tigers.westwinds31 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 11:32 pm Interesting on theTigers podcast listening to Brett Deacon talking about Agbongbon. Awesome, thanks RB!

Sam, I watched him run on with only approx 2 mins remaining. My first impression was that he was quite tall but he looked very lean to me, so not sure that lock is his position, I think he is multi talented, so where will his best position be?sam16111986 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 7:33 amWe don't see much from the highlights but comparable to the players around him at the last try he looks a pretty hefty lad at 19. I thought he was a backrow option not a lock. That's what it says on the Tiger player page. At 19 he could fill out quite a bit more naturally over the next couple of year.LE18 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:47 pmSam, I watched him run on with only approx 2 mins remaining. looking at his highlight reel (particularly of him playing 7's) he strikes me as a blind side who could pop up on the wing or through the centres. He could also offer a lineout jumper optionsam16111986 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 4:56 pmI thought he was a backrow option not a lock. That's what it says on the Tiger player page.
