Me too.
When Terry Butcher went from Ipswich to Rangers in Scotland his wife complained about how they called cuts of meat different names in Glasgow.
Obviously queue Scotland gags.

We for a number of years have batch announced signings whereas other clubs announce almost straight away, that means we can sometimes wait for some announcements till the last one or two tricky negotiations complete
Used to run around with an 11, 14 or 15 on my back.

I'd be interested to know how close he maybe came to signing for us, doubt we'll ever find out. I would guess given his radio silence till now putting all fires out on it that this final year had an opt out clause for him in it and he's decided to activate it.OakhamTiger32 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 8:15 pmhttps://twitter.com/JoeMarler/status/14 ... -tigers%2FRagingBull wrote: ↑Wed Jan 26, 2022 6:26 pmEasier to link a Twitter post than type out a Instagram post TBF
Now lets focus on getting the defininites over the line, rumour I'm hearing is over the line is a bloke called Hernandez from Argentina...

Makes sense. With Dolly missing out on the 6N squad he may as well get game time whilst being able to be back at home.RagingBull wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 4:01 pm Tom Cowan Dickie returns to pirates on a 5 week loan deal

Not too disappointed if Marler not coming as would be expensive and block Whitcombe progress. Also other positions more pressing.

Ok so what are the positions we need to strengthen most…….
Re: LEICESTER TIGERS 2021/22 SQUAD/TRANSFERS/CONTRACTS: Lord of the Mauls
That all depends on contract renewals but a speedy winger to replace K. Van Wyk and a enforcer type lock forward would be nice.

Pacific Island bullocking 8 for me if we are not getting Harrison.

Unless this 6N's period proves me wrong which it might my worry is Loosehead currently
Leatigaga is he a starter?
Whitcombe is he ready to be starting 15 prem games a season?
Van Wyk is he a good enough scrummager?
Gloucester and Sarries especially will be big challenges for the scrum neither are losing many forwards to the 6N's on top of that.

Saints fans said that Van Wyk was their best scrummager at loose head although that’s not saying much.

Yep Saints fans all rated Van Wyk at scrum time. Can’t imagine he’d let the side down with Montoya and Cole beside him in the set piece.
Given our success this season, can’t imagine many incoming players for next season. I could see about four more additions.
- loosehead to replace Genge
- backrower to replace Brink who can cover 6,7,8
- centre to replace Taute/Socino like Gopperth/Hughes
- winger to replace Van Wyk, Radwan would be dream scenario
